ses. He spoke a parable to them, saying, ''The land of a certain rich man brought forth plenty of fruit, and he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do? Because I have no room where to bestow my fruit.' And he said, 'This will I do. I will pull down my barns and I will build greater. And into them I will gather all things that are grown to me and my goods. And I will say to my soul, ''Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years. Take thy rest, eat, drink, make good cheer." '
"But God said to him, 'Thou fool, this night do they require thy soul of thee, and then who shall own those things which thou hast hoarded up?'
''So is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.''
2.  Esus TEACHES Us How TO USE THIS WORLD 's Gooos
Our Savior spoke to His disciples the following Ma ng parable: ''There was a certain rich man who had a !: steward who was accused of wasting his goods. So he :am  called him and said, 'How is it that I hear this of Ini ity thee7 Give an account of thy stewardship, for now
thou canst be steward no longer.' The steward was at his wits' end, for, like all people who are dishonest, he never expected that his employer would  nd him out. Now his position was gone and he had no plans for the future. 'What shall I do 7' he said within him- self, 'for my lord hath taken away from me the stew­ ardship. To dig I am not able, to beg I am ashamed.'
"All at once, an idea came to his mind. 'I know what I wi  do,' he said, 'that when I shall be removed
