In the latest episode of the very popular ‘Selling Houses Australia’ program on the Life Style Channel, Bernadette Hayes of Harbourline Real Estate achieved the highest price ever for a house featured
on the show. The weatherboard house owned by Sally Cahill McQuinn had been in her family for over 50 years and had loads of history and charm. “It was such a special property, I was determined to get the vendor the best possible price and we achieved the $4 million that they hoped for, “says Bernadette.
Sally explains, “It was an emotional roller coaster for me, but I
can honestly say working with Bernadette was a pleasure at all times. She by far exceeded her duties as a real estate agent in
all avenues. She made herself available at all hours of the day and night, you would have thought
I was her only client! Previously my house had been on the market with 3 other agents, two of
whom were big name real estate agents. Bernadette with her local knowledge was able to achieve a sale price which the others had not been able achieve.”
The new owners said, “We are thrilled with the house and love living here. It feels like we’ve been here forever, and can’t imagine living anywhere else.”
