Information about Kaiser Permanente’s sponsorship program. What they are looking for:
· Community-based programs that address health disparities for vulnerable populations. Populations can be defined by factors such as race or ethnicity, gender, education or income, disability, geographic location or sexual orientation.
· Projects that improve the efficiency of health and human services systems, including food, housing and health care.
· Economic/workforce development.
· Cultural and ethnic diversity.
· Collaborations that coordinate health care services and support economic self-sufficiency. · KPNW employee or staff engaged through volunteering or board service.

Kaiser Cares Volunteerism - https://share.kaiserpermanente.org/article/northwest-employee- community-involvement/ - this requires an employee to log in and “search” for a location they can volunteer at. BGHC should already be on this list because they have had Kaiser volunteers here in the past AND because they received the Grant from Kaiser. I have a call into mike Foley to see if they are on the list of options to volunteer with – no call back yet.
