Designed with varying butt diameters and profiles (percent makeup of butt, taper, tippet) to suit the intended use. ALL TAPERED LEADERS contain “Resin Coating” and “Non-Stress Coating” to ensure low memory, abrasion and water resistance, and prolonged life. Now in new UV and Waterproof Package.
STANDARD Tapered Leaders
One of the best leaders we’ve ever tried. The “STANDARD” of the industry. Extremely soft and supple in feel. Taper profile is for delicate presentations (40% butt, 40% taper, 20% tippet). Green butt and taper sections with clear tippet section to reduce spooking. This versatile leader can handle a wide range of fresh and saltwater species including trout, bass, steelhead, salmon, striped bass and more.

All Purpose Leaders
• Sizes: 7.5 ft., 9 ft. • 3X through 7X • Color: Green with clear tippet

Suitable for most trout, bass, pan fish fisheries for medium-sized dry and wet flies. Contains the most “forgiving” taper profile (50% butt, 30% taper, 20% tippet) and a medium diameter butt section in a neutral gray color. Truly “All Purpose”!

Specialist Dry Leaders
Suitable for waters requiring delicate presentations. Still waters, low water summer conditions, spring creeks. Designed for use with small to medium-sized flies. Specialist Dry Leaders have a smaller diameter butt section resulting in less water disturbance during small fly presentation. A short taper section and longer tippet improves overall balance for smaller flies, but requires more technique to cast well. Pale green in color.

Salmon/Light Salt Water Leaders
Suitable for the heaviest fresh water and salt water species such as salmon, steelhead, tarpon, sea bass, stripers, etc. Clear material with a heavy diameter, long butt section (60%) to turn over the heaviest flies.
