WHAT MAKES A VOSSELER FLY REEL SPECIAL?
Here’s a look inside.*
1. Reel bodies and spools are CNC turned and milled from high-grade aircraft aluminum bar stock. Not stamped or cast. All edges are burr free.
2. Reel bodies and spools are hand-polished and anodized to produce a sealed surface physically harder than quartz.
3. Load-bearing axles are infused with a super-hard self-lubricating PTFE (Teflon®) coating. This design is also used in German automobile engine blocks.
4. The brake axle which incorporates the disc brake rotor is milled from stainless steel.
5. The free-running axle turns on unidirectional roller bearings for a smooth retrieve.
6. Disc brake pads made from high-performance carbon fiber reinforced PTFE plastic for
wear resistance.
• All Reels can be easily changed from right-hand to left-hand retrieve.
• All screws are countersunk to avoid catching on lines and leaders.
