Customers often refer to us as “the OREX guys.” It’s a term of endearment we’re fond of because it captures the casual, personable rapport we have with the facilities that we serve — and the service-focused culture we’ve worked hard to establish.
Our unique culture was born from the long history and deep-rooted relationships our team members have within the nuclear industry. Our company leaders have been Radiation Protection and Radwaste Managers for nuclear power stations in North America. Eastern Technologies, Inc. — the previous company entity from which OREX was created — was a longtime supplier of laundry processing services to the nuclear industry.
To claim that OREX products are “designed by nukes for nukes” would clearly be an understatement. And our family wouldn’t be complete without our valued customers. In fact, customers are often surprised at the level of input they can contribute, both in the ongoing improvement of existing products and in the development of new offerings. We recognize that’s unique among suppliers to the nuclear industry. But that’s just part of being in the OREX family.
