EADERSHIP
Engaging and educating Jewish teens and keeping them
connected to the Jewish people and the Land of Israel
CAJE’S AWARD-WINNING TEEN DEPARTMENT implements powerful, life-changing
programs that equip teens to thrive in today’s challenging world by deepening their
connection to Judaism, strengthening Jewish identity, combating antisemitism and
enhancing their understanding of Israel. CAJE provides an online resource to teens
and parents, JTEENMIAMI.ORG, while offering coaching and guidance to
professionals working with teens, ensuring Miami’s young adults flourish as
leaders in our Jewish community.
DILLER TEEN FELLOWS is Miami’s premier leadership development program
designed to empower 20 Jewish teens each year in grades 10 and 11. Together, they
explore Jewish identity, pluralism, peoplehood, tikkun olam
and their connection
to Israel.
“Diller has completely opened my eyes to what’s been happening in Israel and
the experiences of those who live there. CAJE is behind the scenes, making
it all possible for us.”
— Brayden Labgold-Carroll, Diller Teen Fellows Participant
Founded in Miami in 1988, the LEO MARTIN MARCH OF THE LIVING
is now an international phenomenon that immerses Jewish high school seniors
in Holocaust and Israel education. This transformative six-month experience
culminates in an emotional, two-week journey to Poland and Israel, where
teens learn about Jewish history, resilience and the significance of our
Jewish homeland.
“I refl ect on my time on the March of the Living when I really got to connect
with Jewish people around the world and cement my Zionist and Jewish values.
I take that experience with me everywhere I go.”
— Shana Lewinsky, Leo Martin March of the Living Alum
