STRONG FOR JEWISH MIAMI
FEDERATION IS HELPING Miami's Jewish schools,
synagogues, JCCs and other institutions to secure
their facilities, enabling Jewish life to flourish.
REINFORCING COMMUNITY SECURITY
Federation’s Office of Community Security
collaborates with local law enforcement to assist
152 Miami-based organizations with facility
security, volunteer training and self-defense
programs. We are also launching a new Regional
Threat Center in partnership with the national
Secure Community Network to identify and
respond to local threats to Jewish organizations.
ADVOCATING FOR OUR JEWISH COMMUNITY
Federation's Jewish Community Relations Council
continually works to build alliances with legislators, diverse
partners and interfaith leaders on issues of critical
importance. Areas of concern include combating
antisemitism and all forms of hatred, bolstering support
for Israel and obtaining state and federal grants to
upgrade security infrastructure and personnel.
