Chili Jalapeño Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients
• 2 cups (500 ml) balsamic vinegar • 2 tbsp (30 ml) crushed chilis
• 2 jalapeño peppers, thinly sliced
Preparation
• Bring balsamic vinegar to a low simmer.
• Add crushed chilis and sliced jalapeños.
• Simmer over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
• Remove from heat and let cool.
• Pour into a very clean bottle.
• Store bottle in cupboard and let steep for about 2 weeks.
• Filter and decant into a very clean bottle. Store in a cool, dark place.
