Dishwasher
To remove calcium buildup and mildew odors, pour bleach into an empty dishwasher during the first cycle. Add vinegar during the rinse cycle, and then run a second full cycle using regular dishwasher detergent to clear away any residue. (Do not use bleach if the inside of your dishwasher is stainless steel).
Glassware in the Dishwasher
Pour bleach into dishwasher during the wash cycle, and then add vinegar during the rinse cycle. White vinegar will neutralize the bleach and help remove soap scum and streaks on glassware. (Do not use bleach if the inside of your dishwasher is stainless steel).
