Ginger-Garlic Chicken Wraps with Fresh Cilantro
Serve these fresh wraps hot or cold as a deliciously simple Asian-inspired main course or as a tasty protein-packed snack.

Ingredients
Serves 3
• 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
• 1⁄2 cup (125 ml) sesame seeds
• 1⁄2 cup (125 ml) pine nuts
• 1 1⁄2 lb (675 g) chicken, thinly sliced • 4 tbsp (60 ml) garlic, minced
• 4 tbsp (60 ml) ginger, minced
• 2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
• 1⁄2 cup (125 ml) chili sauce
• 2⁄3 cup (160 ml) rice vinegar
• 1 bunch fresh cilantro
• Pitas, tortillas or lettuce for wrapping
Preparation
• In a pan, heat oil and brown sesame seeds and pine nuts over high heat for about
2 minutes until golden.
• Add chicken, garlic, and ginger. Cook until chicken is golden brown.
• Add soy sauce, chili sauce, and rice vinegar.
• Sauté over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add chopped cilantro.
• Serve wrapped in pitas, tortillas or lettuce.
Dark meat, like chicken thigh meat, results in a more tender, succulent filling.
