My thoughts in Lockdown - Pat Bradley
Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
Yesterday, Today, Forever, Jesus is the same.
We may change but Jesus never, Glory to His Name
Yesterday We should learn from it and continue to treasure our precious memories.
Tomorrow We live in Hope that we will live in a world
that is Loving, Caring and Sharing. We long to be able to share with our families and friends once more and to be free from the fear caused by the Coronavirus.
Today Today is ours. What we do or fail to do will make a difference to our Tomorrow’s world.
Today is a new day, so let us rejoice and praise The Lord who made it, with heart and soul and voice.
The Songsters used to sing ‘When I opened my eyes this morning the sight took my breath away. God gave me a present to open, the gift of a brand new day. It was wonderful, simply wonderful just to feel his presence near. He stayed with me all through the morning and whispered “I’ll always be near’ and HE IS.
Last week when the snow fell, my garden looked simply wonderful - Picture Perfect. Days later, when the sun shone, I was happy about that too. Videos of my great-grandchildren sledging made me almost as excited as if I were there with them. Wishful thinking! I received a card one day which said ‘Count your rainbows not your thunderstorms’ so I try to do that.
During LOCKDOWN and when I have been told to isolate ready for hospital , I have had good days and other days, but have always been loved and cared for by my family. They have been wonderful. Christmas 2020 was the first time I had ever eaten Christmas dinner alone. But it was delivered to me piping hot and delicious by Jonathan. Crackers, but no one to pull them with.
