 BBQ DINNER JACK STACK
SHARING A MEAL
SOMETIMES JUST COMING TOGETHER TO SHARE A MEAL IS SPECIAL
CLUB MEMBER TRISHA STEEBLE
With COVID practically wiping out any indoor group social activities
in 2020, it was nice to see a casual KCRPCA member dinner pop up on the calendar in 2021. And bonus, who does not like Bar-B-Que?
President Fred Quintana started Saturday night’s BBQ dinner with a warm “Welcome everyone! It’s great to have you here! I would like us to take a moment to give
a special ‘Thank you!’ to Cindy Q. for making all of tonight’s arrangements.
Thank you, Cindy!”
“As we begin this evening, let’s raise our glasses for a toast” “To Friendship!”
While I was looking around and hearing the clinking of glasses, it was wonderful to see all the smiling faces, the chuckles and laughter. That was good for the soul.
Let’s face it; being together with old and new friends and about to pile a plate high with Jack Stack BBQ and “fixins”; who wouldn’t smile and chuckle!
The buffet table was long and inviting. We helped ourselves to brisket, pulled pork, turkey, baked beans, potatoes, coleslaw, cheesy corn, rolls and butter.
To top it all off, there was chocolate cake and big chocolate chip cookies for dessert!
This KCRPCA gathering was held at Fiorella’s (Jack Stack BBQ) Event Center near 137th and Antioch in Overland Park. The dining room was spacious, just like the parking!
It is always a grand club event when I see so many much loved and cared for Porsches at once. Smiles pop up everywhere! Smile on, KCRPCA!
