  as I received an email about
the prospects of planning a return trip to Atlanta. It didn’t take much to convince me. I was all in and we got busy. Beginning in late March through May, our team at KCRPCA, Porsche North America, and the staff at the Kimpton Overland hotel worked hard to bring the program together. As Jeremy Clarkson would say on Top Gear, “Everyone would respond magnificently.”
Due to the lingering effects
of the pandemic, we would soon learn that the 2021 program would be a little different, but we were confident that in the end,
it would be another memorable event that would yield a couple of very cool and unexpected surprises.
The 2021 KCRPCA event would consist of a specialized 4-hour and 2-hour program
as well as time in their Driver Simulation lab. The 4-hour course would include driving the 718 mid-engine cars, the new 992 911, as well as the new Taycan Turbo S. The 2-hour program replicated the 4-hour program, but without the Taycan. All in all, it was a great itinerary with some good choices and something for everyone.
