THE QUINTANA’S GRACIOUSLY OPEN THEIR HOME FOR OKTOBERFEST

On a beautiful Saturday evening, September
18t, I attended my first KCRPCA Oktoberfest event at Fred & Cindy Quintana’s home in south Overland Park.
When we pulled up Mr. Quintana was out front directing all the guest traffic and guided
us into a nice driveway spot. It should be noted that was probably the longest driveway I’ve ever seen.
the owner kindly let me sit in the driver’s seat for a great photo!
After checking out all the Porsches, it was time to eat. There were a lot of authentic German foods to pick from, and many delicious desserts.
After dinner, I was excited to get on to the main event, Bingo! I was able to play two cards at the same time. There were lots of great prizes donated for the raffle and bingo winners. I did not win the first round of Bingo. However, I was lucky enough to win a double bingo on the second round. I selected a plaque design sketch of a 2020 Taycan which proudly sits on my bookshelf!

his driving skills at the racing simulator with a little help from some of the members. I thought he was doing really well He said SIM racing is a lot harder than it

The event was a lot of fun; I started off by meeting many of the members and their guests. I lost track of everyone’s names. There must have been over

70 members that attended Oktoberfest. After some great conversation and making new friends, I had to get a closer look at all the various Porsches.
