the twisties or on the track, the car never fails to amaze and put a smile on my face. Being in the driver’s seat is a great place to be.
7DID YOU PERSONALIZE YOUR CAR?
A little bit. It started life with
me as a regular 2014 Racing Yellow Porsche Cayman S, but
has evolved since I drove it home from Phoenix in a snowstorm. Since then, I’ve added the Cayman GTS tail lights, GTS rear diffuser, X73 Sport Suspension, GT4 Short Shifter, Racing Yellow interior trim, Black Forest Industries weighted shift knob, Soul Performance Hi- Flow Cat headers, Borla Cat-back exhaust, Softronic ECU Tune, and probably a few other things, I’m sure.
8NEXT
UPGRADE?
Probably some 996 GT3 front Calipers and rotors, along with a GT3 Brake Master Cylinder to help it stop a bit quicker on the track.

FAVORITE CAR
MIKE REHAK
There are so many. Eureka Springs for Porsche Palooza every November is always a highlight. The crazy drive back from Phoenix, when I bought the car, is another. Every track day, autocross, and driving tour is a blast. The trip out to Colorado Springs this past fall was an absolute hoot. My favorite is probably always the next one. Driving out to Laguna Seca for the upcoming Rennsport Reunion this upcoming fall might be tough to top.
