ENGAGEMENT
ANOTHER NEW YEAR FILLED WITH GREAT EVENTS AND AWESOME PEOPLE!
PRESIDENT
Jeff Hallam
WHEN I JOINED IN 2014, I NEVER THOUGHT I’D BE SITTING HERE TONIGHT WRITING THE PRESIDENT’S COLUMN. I AM HUMBLED.
Fred Quintana and the past board have been a true Band of Brothers (and sisters!) to me, and their hard work gives the 2023/2024 board a big boost of confidence moving forward. Both teams have been working hard the past two months to try and make
and Stan Thorne for our award winning website and newsletter! With Deborah’s hard work we have won Best in Class four times and Best in Nation once. Stan’s efforts with the newsletter also continue to be highly recognized, with six Best in Class and two Best in Nation.
09YEARS
I can’t write an opening column
as smooth a transition as possible. Even though they took over in the height of COVID lock downs, the past board set the bar high. The
new board is up to the task and we have another great slate of events lined up in 2023 and hopefully there is something to appeal to all our members.
Keep checking our website kcrpca. org or peruse Der Sportwagen for future events or look for the monthly event snapshot email. We’ll get things confirmed and updated shortly. We will continue our well attended watch parties, social dinners, and driving tours as well as autocross. Let’s not forget our breakfast gathering EVERY Saturday Morning at Pegah’s! Sign up and come out
