Connie and I had the great opportunity to attend
the Antique Automobile Club of America “Winter- national” event earlier this
year. Registration indicated that the event would be held at the American Muscle Car Museum located in Melbourne, Florida. Little did we know that this location would reveal a private automotive collection that would disorient me to total disbelief.
people displaying cars at the Winternationals. We were led by folks driving a ‘52 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop to the site of the event Saturday morning. We arrived at the museum and were immediately impressed by the grounds and the sheer size of the overall facility. There were two large watershed basins that were clearly marked with alligator warning signs. That’s not what we see in the Midwest for sure.

Mark Pieloch, the museum owner, has amassed approximately 400 cars for his remarkable facility. Mark is originally from the Tecumseh, Nebraska area. He holds multiple patents and is a pharmacist by education. Google Mark and the Museum some time. You will be amazed.
The Winternational was being held on the paved parking area in front of the museum. The variety of cars was impressive. My personal favorites were
two Studebaker Hawks from
the 1950’s. The black one was loaded with options and the restoration was beyond amazing. I have included a few other cars that were outside the museum. Connie and I were headed to
