We always take time to thank our fea- ture sponsor Aristocrat Motors, and let them speak to the crowd. Robert Hell- weg introduced the team from Aris- tocrat and then announced he had a surprise gift. Robert had picked out 2 members from KCRPCA, who over the course of the year, have shown a great spirit of giving. They were there when cones needed to be picked up at auto- cross. They volunteered to be sweeper on the fun runs. They filled in, giving of their time, to make other club member’s time more enjoyable.
Robert called Fred Quintana and Jeff Hallam up and presented them both with a ticket to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta! Applause and cheers were given to two very deserving club members. Thank you, Robert; the gifts were very kind.
The evening wrapped up with the in- troduction of the 2018 board, chairs, and most importantly, your new President Agelon “T” Jones and Vice President Fred Quintana. I’m highly confident in this group and I expect great things for 2019 and beyond.
It is hard to believe that I have official- ly handed off the Helmet of Authority to Agelon “T” Jones. Maybe he will let me wear it once in a while
