The question remaining was...
“How do we transport the immobile patient to the location of the ambulance?”
The answer is the Micro Patient Transport (MPT).
Requested by Paramedics and Emergency Personnel, METrans responded with the MPT which allows excellent maneuverability and quick access, in all environments, including through crowds, to a patient, immobile and ready for transport to an ambulance.
In emergency situations, access to, and the ability to quickly transport a patient can mean the difference between life and death.
The ability to quickly transport a patient can mean the difference between LIFE and DEATH.
To accommodate the different sizes of Gurneys, METrans made the top deck of the MPT adjustable,
to fit all common sizes. Using an adjustable bracket, coupled with a Velcro Strap system, the Gurney is securely attached to the top of the MPT. The Patient is strapped onto the Gurney by traditional methods. The height of the Patient, when strapped to the Gurney, permits the attending Emergency Personnel to “bag” the Patient while walking next to the MPT as it is towed to the ambulance by the METrans MT700 Vehicle.
