Las Vegas Aviators thrill fans with spiffy baseball park
In the making for several years, Las Vegas Aviators have finally treated fans to the spiffiest baseball park in Summerlin, Nevada. The 10,000 fan capacity facility
opened on April 6, 2019 and specta- to a never-before-like experience. Aviators had to struggle for years to get a new minor league ballpark in the gambling city and now the $150 million set-up rivals the best complete with a swimming pool and celebrity chefs and the minor league baseball team is sure of filled-to-capacity venue.

Louis Armstrong Stadium, a 14,000-seat open-air covered tennis stadium at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Billie Jean King National Tennis Cen- ter was designed by ROSSETTI Architects with Geiger Engineers structural and mechanism engineers. The new facility opened in 2018
replacing old stadium of the same name on the same site. This session will highlight how the unique tech- nical challenges and constraints led to an unique integrated design im- plementing the last major piece of USTA’s master plan for the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center campus in New York City.
