07 | MOBILE PHONES & USAGE MOBILE PHONES Pay as you go SIM cards are readily available in the UK from providers such as 02 / Vodafone / and EE. It may be worth doing a bit of research to find out which provider offers the cheapest rates on international calls. Companies such as giffgaff or Lycamobile are worth exploring. On arrival at your school / college ask which service provider has the best signal as some will be better than others. If you are studying at a boarding school the chances are that they will have strict rules around where and when mobile phones can be used and this will include social media usage. Please familiarise yourself with the rules of your school, the last thing you will want is to get your phone or other devises confiscated. College Guardians (as should the school / college that you are attending )has a policy concerning staying safe on line, if you have any worries or questions with regards to this please ask.
