Just a few minutes after dropping off to sleep, Wee was woken up by a loud banging on his front door.
BANG, BANG, BANG! ... BANG, BANG, BANG!
Wee was frightened by the noise; he started to worry about what it could be.
“What if it’s a big, scary monster?” he thought.
“Don’t be silly, we don’t have monsters on this planet,” he told himself, “just little aliens like me.”
So, trying to be brave, he crept downstairs to see who it could be.
“I don’t like being brave,” Wee squeaked. “Maybe I should just give up and go back to bed?”
