When Wee opened his eyes, he wondered why he was standing in front of two strange doors. One said ‘GIVE UP’ and the other said ‘GIVE IT A GO’.
“GIVE UP or GIVE IT A GO?” he squeaked. “Well, that’s an easy choice; I’m an expert at giving up!”
He opened the first door, walked through, and magically appeared right back in his own house standing next to Mr Tea.
“What happened?” asked Mr Tea.
“Well, nothing,” said Wee. “Nothing at all.”
“Oh... Well, I suppose if you ‘give up’ NOTHING ever will happen!”
Wee looked a bit sad.
“Why did you give up?” asked Mr Tea.
“Because I didn’t know what was behind the other door. What if there was a big, scary monster waiting for me?” squeaked Wee.
“But the hat will make you brave and powerful. You must believe in the hat,” said Mr Tea. “Go on, have another go.”
