Your day doesn’t always end when the kids are done with the school day. That’s why the Tampa Y offers the Before & After School Enrichment program that serve thousands of children in Hillsborough County. YMCA Before & After School care focuses on nurturing a child’s development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills. Children will develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance in
the program, through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Who can attend the YMCA After School Program?
The Tampa YMCA Before & After School Enrichment program is available for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. (Kindergartner must be at least 5 years old).
What does the YMCA After School Program provide?
• Academic enrichment and homework assistance
• Structured outdoor activities for physical activity
• Hands-on, engaging indoor activities
• Free healthy snacks
• Arts and crafts
We offer bus transportation to the Y from:
• Carrollwood Elementary
• Claywell Elementary
• Essrig Elementary
• Northwest Elementary
• Sunlake Academy
• Schwarzkopf Elementary
Drop off option is available for parents or guardians who wish to transport their child(ren) to the Y.

Members $80, plus $35 registration fee | Non-Members $105, plus $50 registration fee
Drop Off Cost/Week:
Members $70, plus $35 registration fee | Non-Members $95, plus $50 registration fee
Kids’ Day Out
When school is out, camp is in! Tampa YMCA offers Kids’ Day Out holiday day camp during no school days (following the Hillsborough County School District calendar).
Children can make new friends and have fun in a safe and structured environment
at camp. All activities take place under the guidance of trained Tampa Y counselors,
who embrace the values of our organization. Our holiday day camp program
includes games, crafts, swimming and more for children ages 5 to 12 (children
must have completed, or currently enrolled in kindergarten to participate in the program).
