See that storm sewer pipe on the far side. It was just .03 of a foot (less than 4 inches) in the way of the city water main. The water main pipe was lowered about 18 inches to give plenty of clearance for the storm sewer pipe. Two 45 degree mechanical joints were installed Thursday morning. Pictured above are Branden Abeln and Dwight Zerr as the project was just getting nished up.
Dwight Zerr was tighten- ing up the ttings as the project was being com- pleted.
