A taxi driver (Karim Abdel Aziz) goes to battle with his father-in-law over the custody of his son after Karim is widowed. Though he wins custody, his son is kidnapped and Karim is attacked, losing his memory in the process. "We'll Be Back After the Break" is loosely based on the American film "Memento."
