Memories
Memory 1
Professor Hoyte, many years after we graduated, told me that every now and then a special class shows itself. He said that `74 was recognized by many of his colleagues as such a class. My memory of all my classmates is special and even though we would tease or argue with each other at times, it never overrode the fact that `74 was a special family and we cared for each other even to this day.
Memory 2
It was Richard Clarke and I who stole all the cutlery from Taylor Hall during one football week. Because of the weight, we had to make a few trips and we foolishly returned to grab some apples from Taylor Hall`s kitchen. It turned out to be large tomatoes. We were chased and Richard and I ended up hiding in the Chapel bushes. I won`t comment on us being near to Chris Rose who was parked in the dark.
Memory 3
As everybody knows, S and P medicine (Shit and Piss), was something we never studied for. I believe it was either Richard Clarke or Terry Ali and I copied Essa Kazim`s exam word for word. I made 82%, Terry/Richard made 67% and Essa failed with 45%. Essa argued non-stop showing all three essays that were word for word. The person running S and P (I forget his name) couldn`t comprehend Essa`s logic. I believe Essa had to do the supplementary exam. He never spoke to us for weeks afterwards.
