Memories
Memory 1
As a freshman, I unwillingly marched against the Government of Jamaica ill-treating Walter Rodney with many other students we marched from campus down to Halfway Tree in our red gown. We got tear gassed and my red gown was torn in many places by barbed wire.
Memory 2
I played Steel Pan efficiently for the first time at 1971 Compus Carvinal (I knew how to play the
piano).
Memory 3
A group of 8 of us which included Deo Singh, Roy Tilluckdharry, John Woo drove drown to Negril Beach in two volks wagon vehicles and spent two nights. Imagine 4 of us in one volks wagon trying to sleep on Negril beach with mosquitos ++++ and no leg room. The next day was spent sleeping all day at a beach in Montego Bay. To crown it all my Beetle conked out half way back home so all 9 of us had to fit in one vehicle.
