The children had a wide spectrum of neurological problems, including Learning Disability, Cerebral Palsy, intractable seizures and Mental Retardation. I was also involved in teaching Pediatric Residents and Medical Students rotating through Child Neurology there. Assistant Clinical Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at SUNY for about 10 years of those 17 years, and was a preceptor of Child Neurology Fellows, and a lecturer to Medical students during this time.
I also authored 1 publication in the Journal of Child Neurology and co-authored a few others.
I received a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration at Central Michigan University, with the idea that I may pursue a new career when retired from Medicine, but cancelled that idea when I realized that retirement was far more attractive. Retired in 2008.
