To reduce slum areas;
To support a livelihood program for low-income community through housing infrastructure and infrastructure to support local economy through labor intensive activities, in the prevention and improvement of slum area quality;
To formulate slum upgrading plan for city/district and community levels that is integrated with Local Mid-term Development Plan;
To establish a well-functioning Housing and Settlement Task Force (Pokja PKP) at city/district level for slum management;
To implement joint regulations as part of the transformation efforts in clean and healthy living behavior as well as slum prevention.
