DETERMINATION OF LOCATION
1. Determination of slum area based on location identification and assessment conducted by the government and the community as stipulated in the Mayor/Regent’s decree.
2. Development of slum upgrading plan based on the slum level, land condition and other considerations.
STRATEGY
1. Restoration;
2. Renewal;
3. Resettlement.
MANAGEMENT
1. Issuance of location permit and building permit to ensure conformity of plans with technical standards;
2. Preparation and provision of technical standards for buildings and infrastructure as reference for all development actors
3. Issuance of the CFF (Certificate of Feasibility of Function) as mechanism for ensure the building is well function.
COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
 1. Conducting community outreach on the importance of decent
housing. 1.
Establishment of SHG as a forum for the community to manage their housing area so it will not return to slum;
Self- maintenance and repair through the establishment of utilization and maintenance group.
2. Provision of technical support to parties involved in housing development and activities ;
3. Provision of guidance for stakeholders
