Don Peddicord, contestant on Ink Master season 5, is a self-made man who has learned to turn struggle into triumph, going from an unsuccessful apprenticeship to co-owning his own tattoo shop, Tattoo Dynasty in Baltimore, Maryland. He has been tattooing for 9 years and specializes in neo-traditional, portraiture and realism styles. After a motorcycle accident left Peddicord severely injured, doctors estimated that he would not be able to walk again for over six months, but Peddicord persevered and proved the doctors wrong, doing so in less than three.

Don started tattooing when he was a kid. He went to a tattoo shop with his uncle to watch him get a tattoo and fell in love with it. He got into tattooing just by getting tattooed himself and the artist that did all of his tattoos offered him an apprenticeship. He took it, jumped into tattooing and from there has been tattooing ever since. O
