Career Services to Host Thurgood Marshall College Fund Information Session
DURHAM, NC—February 22, 2018 – NCCU Career Services & Outreach will be having a Thurgood Marshall College Fund Information Session for students that are interested in being a part of the TMCF Leadership Institute. It will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, from 4-5 p.m. in the Alfonso Elder Student Union Lobby.
Each year the TMCF hosts its Leadership Institute featuring an extraordinary opportunity for students to gain leadership skills and network with companies/professionals/exec- utives from fortune 100 companies. Students selected will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, DC. TMCF features internships where students can earn $400-$800/ week, full-time jobs, and scholarships that pay for tuition. Alcorn State University stu- dent and TMCF Leadership Institute 2017 attendee Tony Innouvong said, “If I could de- scribe this leadership institute in one word, it would be ‘motivational’.”
In order to be eligible for application, students must attend this meeting. Students may RSVP for the event through their personal Handshake accounts.
