 CONTRACT AND GUIDELINES
10. Service Charge and Tax
Service charge of twenty two percent (22%) plus six percent (6%) sales tax on all food and beverage will automatically be added to special functions. All liquor charges are subject to an additional three percent (3%) Cobb County alcohol tax. Miscellaneous items, such as the room rental and ceremony fees, as well as the service charge, are taxable items and will be charged at a rate of 6% tax.
11. Cancelation
The patron acknowledges that all deposits will be forfeited in the event the special event is cancelled. Evidence of intent to cancel the agreement should be notified in writing.
12. Liability and Security
GTC reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged in accordance with the extent of damage. GTC cannot assume responsibility for personal property or the equipment brought into Club facilities. If trash or debris is left following an event, GTC reserves the right to charge for clean-up. CLIENT assumes responsibility for any damages caused by any of their guests and vendors.
13. Decorations and Displays
Decorations or displays brought into GTC by the undersigned must be approved prior to arrival. Items may not be attached to any stationary wall, floor, window, ceiling with nails, staples, tape, or any other substance. No confetti or glitter allowed.
14. Alcoholic Beverages/Food
All food and beverages must be supplied by GTC. All food and beverages must be consumed on the premises of GTC and cannot be removed from the premises.
15. Food
GTC’s practices regarding the manner in which food is handled and held, prior to consumption by patron and patron’s guests, are rigorously monitored to assure quality and safety.
16. Alcoholic Beverages
GTC, as a licensee, is responsible for the sale and service of alcoholic beverages on the premises as regulated by the Georgia State Liquor Authority. It is policy, therefore, that NO alcoholic beverages may be brought into GTC. GTC reserves the right to limit or deny service of alcoholic beverages to anyone who appears, in the sole judgment of the Food and Beverage Director on duty, to be intoxicated, or who is unable to provide proof of age when asked.
