This course is for students who want to go on to advanced architectural concepts. This includes an in-depth study of a shopping mall, restaurant, wall sections, models, and a housing tract. Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is further explored.

This course is an in-depth study of the structural systems. Students will make a complete set of working drawings for a dream house. Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is used to develop 10% of these drawings.

This course introduces students to clothing construction techniques based on Standards for Home Economics Careers & Technology. It is a lab class that covers the following: how to operate a sewing machine, sewing terms and tools, pattern and fabric selection, pattern layout, cutting and marking. Students will work on projects that will cover a range of sewing techniques: basic seams and seam finishes, buttons, zippers, linings, drawstrings, and hand sewing skills. This course introduces students to a career path in the fashion industry, and requires the individual to be organized and manage their time wisely.

This course expands on the skills developed in Clothing I and introduces more advanced sewing techniques and projects. Students will learn about textiles, clothing selection and decision-making, learning how to create fashion sketches. There may be a field trip to the garment district in Los Angeles. The course follows the Standards for Home Economics Careers and Technology. After this course students may want to continue their career path with Fashion Merchandising.
