Page 11 - Countering Trinitarian Arguments With Historical Reference
P. 11
Note that from this article archaeologists have found the oldest known Church in Israel and that it was in existence before the Pagan Roman Emperor Constantine enforced the Trinity Doctrine upon humanity and the massive Roman Empire. We should also note that there are no Trinity symbols within this Church and no references to the Trinity! If the Trinity was widely accepted teachings of the Early Church then why are there no references to this later Byzantine era teaching? Further evidence also compels us to rethink Early Christian teachings and belief when we learn that the Church was dedicated not to a Holy Trinity but rather to one single deity “of the God, Jesus Christ.”
It is no wonder that Emperor Constantine destroyed this Early Church. He later erected Roman Catholic Trinitarian Churches throughout the Roman Empire. The reason being Constantine backed his newer Trinitarian Church and rejected Jesus as Lord and Jesus name baptism. Constantine worshiped the Sun god until his death and was no true Christian. We have him and other Emperors to thank for the Trinity dogma becoming the official Catholic teaching of the Empire. We need to only go to the history books to see that the Roman Emperors persecuted the Jesus name one God Churches and the Catholic Trinity dogma was forced upon humanity. Emperor Constantine is the reason for the change in doctrine and for idol worship merging with his new apostate imperial Church. The following true history is shocking!
Emperor Constantine enforcer of the Pagan Solar Trinity
The rise of Christianity 1985, Dr. W. Frend, pages 140-141. Informs us that Emperor Constantine even helped to shape and dictates the Trinity doctrine of the Council of Nicene in 325 AD: “It was at this stage that Constantine made his momentous suggestion. Might not the relationship of the Son to the Father be expressed by the term homoousious [of the same substance]. ..It was thus a loaded word as well as being unscriptural. Why Constantine put it forward we do not know. (We know and will show that it agreed with his Sun-God worship and Paganism) The possibility is that once again he was prompted by Hosius, and may have been using it as a translation of the traditional view held in the West, that the Trinity was composed of Three Persons in one substance, without inquiring further into the meaning of these terms. The Emperor had spoken, and no one dared touch the creed during his lifetime. The Great majority of the Eastern bishops found themselves in a false position.” [Many should be shocked that a Pagan forced the Trinity upon humanity.]
The Church of our Fathers by R. H. Bainton, 1950, page 46. “The day was to come when the *Nicene (*Constantine’s Trinitarian) party won completely and then the (Roman) emperors, who wished to prevent any more such quarrels, [i.e. between Arius and Athanasius] decreed that one who denied the Trinity should be put to death. This law was later to be used against the *Unitarians. [*Or a better term Jesus Name One God Christians] At the earlier time, however, the bishops were horrified that truth (or new Catholic Traditions including the non inspired Trinity) should be defended by the shedding of blood.” (It did not take long for the Bishops to get use to killing. Murder and forced conversions took place by Trinitarian proponents. This is why around 90% of Europe and Latin America are Catholic and Trinitarian today.)
