I Corinthians 14:21-22, 21.) “In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. 22.) Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.” I Corinthians 14:39, “Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.”
The experience and evidence is real. Ask someone who has received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in another tongue, which they did not learn (taught by man). Acts 2:4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” What would it be like to experience this gift so freely given by God just for God himself to say unto us, At this time tomorrow, I will withdraw my spirit from you? It would be too hard to handle. Honestly, I would not want to have to go through and drink of the same cup of which Christ partook of at that present time; or this present time.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5, 4.) “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: 5.) And thou shalt love the Love thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
Matthew 22:37-38, 37.) “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38.) This is the first and great commandment.”
Mark 12:29-30, 29.) “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is Hear, O’ Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord: 30.) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”
The answer to question number two is, YES!
Thank God for the revelation of who Jesus Christ our Lord really is!!
