Page 42 - Countering Trinitarian Arguments With Historical Reference
P. 42
At left, we see an image from ancient Egypt of the ancient Solar Trinity or Sun-god Amen- Ra. We should note that the union of the three high-gods or triad/trinity of Isis, Horus, and Osiris mystically become the one god Amen- Ra. The triangle in the middle with the all- Seeing Eye symbolizes the one supreme deity that is composed of the three divine Persons of the Pagan Trinity in Unity. The one supreme creator Amen-Ra then is composed of the three gods. Therefore, we see the ancient formula of the Trinity hypothesis. We see that the Roman Catholic Church has taken from the earlier Babylonian and Egyptian Mystery religious systems. The only difference is that in the so-called orthodox
triad or Trinity the supreme one God is a Unity of the three divine Persons called God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. We see the contradictory Tri-unity One God yet mystically three at the same time. The ancients saw the Sun as a symbol of this Pagan Trinity or Triad. The 1) Sun the orb/circle it’s self, 2) the sunlight or sun rays and the 3) fire or heat three different things yet one God. This is however not true Biblical Monotheism found in the Holy Scriptures. This theory is in reality Pagan Theology, Astrology, and old/New-Age thinking along with Gnosticism and Platonic philosophy. Again, we quote The History of Magic and The Occult by Kurt Sellgmann, 1997 Edition, page 61 under Gnosticism. “Many Babylonian ideas had long since influenced the west, [Egypt, Greece, and later the Roman Empire] particularly their astrology. It became known also that priests of Babylon knew the ‘one god,’ Ilu, primary and unique, from whom springs all other gods. Ilu formed the Holy Trinity: Anu, the time-god, Nuah, intelligence, [Logos] and Bel, the coordinator. This first Triad represents the genesis of the material world which emanated from the divine being.”
At left, we see one of many triad or Trinity temples constructed by the Romans. This one is found in Northern Africa. There are many of these Pagan Roman triad worship centers found all through the old Roman Empire. We see that literally three (3) temples were built side by side to the Pagan Trinity or three high-gods. These Pagan structures may have influenced Peter. See Matthew 17:1-8.
