here enjoined, does not appear to have been employed by the primitive Church, which, so far as our information goes, baptized 'in' or 'into the name of Jesus' (or 'Jesus Christ' or Lord Jesus': Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5, 1 Cor. 1:13, 15).”
The Conclusion of Matthew by Dr. Hans Kosmala, 1965, chapter X: “Summarizing the foregoing observations we may say that there are many points in favor of the Eusebian conclusion of Matthew, (in my name) far more than for the traditional conclusion. The "name of Jesus" stands in the centre of early Christian preaching and it would be surprising if Matthew's Gospel would take so little notice of this important fact as to immerse it completely in the traditional baptism formula. We have seen that this formula is late beyond any doubt and this alone makes its appearance at so early a stage a historical impossibility. The only explanation we can give is that it has been inserted here by the later (Catholic) Church, because it needed it in that Gospel which was the most widely used in its liturgy.”
They needed it to support their non-Biblical Trinity theory and Roman Catholic Trinitarian baptism so they added it to the Bible. They played God and deceived most of the human race. Therefore, the Trinity was not a belief of the early Church. It was a belief of the “later (Catholic) Church”.
Above at left, we see an Egyptian artifact, found by archaeologists, of three fish that are mystically united as one but are still three distinct fish. This Pagan art and concept symbolizes the mystic Trinity. At right, we see the ancient royal family of Babylon of the Sun god Nimrod, his wife Ishtar the Queen of Heaven, and their son Tammuz. These three depraved people set themselves up as three coequal gods and formed the first triad or Trinity. It is shocking but we will see that many Christian groups have adopted Pagan art symbols and Philosophies. “Sola Scriptura” (Only the Scriptures) the noble slogan of going to or using only the inspired Scriptures for any doctrinal stand seams to have been forgotten by many. All doctrine must be based upon and be in harmony with the Scriptures or we will in time fall into a Gnostic, Platonic, or an Allegorical twilight zone. We will look together at the historical, archaeological and Biblical records for the original first century Church teachings. We will also see the real foundation of the Trinity doctrine.
