Page 61 - Countering Trinitarian Arguments With Historical Reference
P. 61
The New Testament above is the famous Erasmus Catholic Greek New Testament. At right is Erasmus. The Catholic Trinitarian Wycliffe translated from a Latin Bible taken from a Greek Catholic Text in the fourth century AD. Tyndale was the first to translate the New Testament to English from a Catholic Greek Text. The first Catholic Greek New Testament to be printed was edited and altered in 1514 by Cardinal Ximenes, a Roman Catholic priest. John Froben, an enterprising printer, hastily contracted the famous humanist scholar, Erasmus, to publish a Greek New Testament in an attempt to preempt any other such endeavor. Because of the hurry to get it published, and the bias Catholic Trinitarian influences, its accuracy remained very much in question. Many Trinity slants were placed in this text. The most famous interpolation was 1 John 5:7. Nevertheless, the 1522 Erasmus’ NT became the standard edition of all Bible Translations until the Revised Version in 1881. William Tyndale used the Third Edition of Erasmus’ Catholic Greek NT as he translated the Catholic Greek into the vernacular English.
*Adding or taking away from the Word of God is a very serious sin and crime against God and Humanity. However, this is exactly what the Roman Catholic Church has done. The reason for these alterations to the Scriptures and deceptions was so that humanity would universally summit to, ignorantly promote and accept the Roman Catholic Trinity doctrine. From the evidence given, it is easy to see that there are not Three Gods or a Trinity in Heaven. 1 John 5:7 is not even a real text of inspired Scripture that the Apostles wrote. This verse is a Catholic man-made creed. Therefore, this argument falls flat on its face and has no valid legitimacy. 1 John 5:7, like its Matthew 28:19 counterpart, is nothing but a forgery. The Pope put pressure upon the Catholic priest Erasmus to place this counterfeit Trinitarian credo in his New Greek Catholic translation. The Roman Catholic Church also altered this verse (and Matthew 28:19) for deceptive doctrinal reasons. Many lean heavily upon these two false Catholic interpolated Scriptures in defense of the tritheistic Trinity doctrine. Therefore, this three God Trinitarian doctrine and baptism is based upon completely non-inspired spurious Catholic lies and fabrications. When the two primary Trinity Texts themselves are proven to be spurious Catholic hoaxes, anyone with common sense and integrity should begin to seriously question this triarchy hypothesis. There is no solid Biblical foundation for the pagan/Catholic metaphysical philosophical Trinity doctrine.
