thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a nnan..."(Matthew 15:19-20). Paul also says, "This I say then. Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that ye would...Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emula tions, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which 1 tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the king dom of God" (Galatians 5:16-21).
Isaiah describes the mightiness ofChrist's divine humanity saying, "The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war; he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies" (Isaiah 42:13). Jesus did not come to be tempted and fall in sin but to destroy sin for eternity. All the cries, hungers, thirsts, and all types of temptations were enduredforthereconciliationofmantoGod(IICorinthians5:19). ForGod was incarnated in all days of the flesh reconciling the world unto Himself. Chnstsays. TheLordGODhathgivenmethetongueofthelearned,thatI should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wak- eneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and 1 was not rebellious, neither turnedawayback. Igavemybacktothesmiters,andmycheekstothem thatpluckedoffthehair:Ihidnotmyfacefromshameandspitting. Forthe Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my fac6 like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed... who is mine adversary? let him come near to me" (Isaiah 50:4-8). Jesus Christ is
