ing God" (John 6:68-69). Peter did not forget the question of Jesus in
Caesarea Philippi, nor who the Son of Man is (Matthew 16:13).
The same reasoning could apply to the following passage: "For as the Fatherhath lifein himself/ so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also"..,. "Has given him" indicates, that the power and life of the blood and flesh belongs to
God only, for he is the father incarnate Gohn 5:26-27). The Son of man means Son of God. Therefore, when God was manifested in the flesh he became God-Man.
Being God-Man, entitles Christ to be, "...The mighty God, The ever lasting Father^." (Isaiah 9:6). All power and authority belongs to Him to execute judgment. The government is upon the shoulder of the "child (God-
Man) manifested unto us". The blood of the Lamb of God has power to remit our sins and the stripes of Jesus has power to heal our body and to raise us from the dead (I John 1:7; Colossians 1:13-15).
The Son of Man has the power to control all eschatological events
accompanying His return in glory (Matthew 24:30). "The Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." (Matthew
simply means that He is omnipotent, that the right hand of God the Fathejisexalted,anddoesvaliantly(Acts7:56). Itisclearthattheexpres sion "on the right hand of power"(Mark 14:62; Luke 22:69) is to be taken
^B^atively in the same way 2is John 1:18 where the only begotten Son is said
^ ^^0"bosomoftheFather".ItshowsthattheSonofMan,omnipotent TM omnipresent, is none other than God the Father Himself manifested as LKxl-Man (John 14:10).
. prophet Zechariah declared, "And the LORD shall be king over all tne earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one"
th Matthew 26:24 and Acts 1:11, we realize that tne ^ n of Man is none else than God the Father incarnate who shall come
o e the earth. Christ the conquering Messiah in the title of a mighty man of war shown in Isaiah 42:13 is the white horse rider of Revelation chap ter 19, where He is called the Word of God, the King of Kings, and Lord of
^^Ithful and true, who reigns in righteousness and will "judge and make war." All this is implied when Jesus became the Son of Man (the ^ther incarnate). Surely Jesus "the Lord God omnipotent reigneth" (Revelation 19:6; 1:17-18).
7.13 The Seed of Abraham
The covenant of circumcision made between God and Abraham in Genesis 17:1-14 was a shadow of the eternal circumcision wrought through baptism of water and Spirit as expounded in Galatians 3:15-29 and
