"...God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh" (Romans 8:3). "Therefore as by the offense of one judgement came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the right eousness of one the free gift came upon all men imto justification of life" (Romans 5:18). "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sin ners, so by the obedience of one many be made righteous" (Romans 5:19).
"Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and sup plications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet teamed he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all that obey him" (Hebrews 5:7-9; Hebrews 7:15-27).
"Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well...Jesus saith unto her. Give me to drink" Qohn4:6-7). "After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst..." Qohn 19:28-30; cf. John4:14; Matthew 5:6). "For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). "...and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and was afflicted..." (Isaiah 53:6-7).
8.3 The Work of Christ
The work of Christ has specific references to the birth, death, burial, res urrection, ascension, and exaltation of Christ. These six events will be con sidered in the chronological order in which they occurred. In contrast to ordinary men, it is the death of Christ, rather than His earthly life that is of
supremeimportance. Thisisevidentfrommanyconsiderations:

Jesus was born of a virgin to fulfill prophecy (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 9:6; Micah 5:2-4; Isaiah 7:13-14; Isaiah 53:1; Isaiah 35:5-10; 61:1-3).)
He was born as a first begotten Son of God that He mig^t be the first bom among many brethren, and that He may change them into His image (Romans 8:29).
For those who understand the mystery of His birth and received Him as the first begotten Son and express image of God, He gave them power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. These would be bom, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. They would receive the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Spirit, putting on the
