raise it up... But he spake of the temple of his body " pointing to the flesh in
which God was manifested to save the world Qohn 2:19-21; I Timothy 3:16).
How was the Son born? Nothing is impossible with God. The Word of life, which was the essence of God the Father, was made flesh in the womb of Mary by the work of God the Father, by the power of the Most Fligh
(Hebrews 10:5,10). Thus, Jesus was born as the only begotten Son of God. The Word was made flesh, that is, God was revealed to us in His own flesh to fulfill the prophesy of Hosea 2:16 saying, "...at that day, saith the Lord,
that thou Shalt call me Ishi." And also the prophecies of Isaiah 7:10-14; 8:8; 9:1-6; 42:13; that God Himself shall appear as a mighty man, "Ishi," to destroy the work of the enemy and to become light in the darkness of this world. God, who was invisible and unapproachable because of His divine essence, now became both visible and approachable by manifesting Himself
in flesh as God-Man.

God prepared Him and begot Him by His Spirit, so the Son is the manifestation of God's nature. Let us be clear when we say that the Son was the only begotten of the Father through the virgin Mary, we understand He was begotten for the very first time, not for the second time. The Son is the Word of God that was made
flesh: the express image of the only invisible deity. The Father is in the Son; thus,theSonis "thebrightnessofhisglory"and"theexpressimageofhis person" (Hebrews 1:1-3). We can say the invisible person of God is now become visible after the birth of the Son of God. (See also II Corinthians 4:4;
Colossians 1:15.)
Our God, who possesses only one essence, was manifested in the flesh without changing or doing away with His divine essence. After the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, our one God worked among men as the Father, in the Son. By manifesting Himself in the flesh, the one invisible God became visible and bears only one name, the name Jesus for an eternity. (See I Timothy 1:15-17; 2:5-7; 3:16.)
Jesus Christ declared, "All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him" (Matthew 11:27). By this statement. He made it evident that the oneness of the Father and the Son in one person and essence remains a great mystery to angels and humans alike, unless He reveals Himself to them. When He revealed Himself to His apostles, they became bold enough to say "That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled.
