Isaiah 25:9; 43:11; 45:21-22; 60:16; Hosea 13:14; Zechariah 11:10-12.) In his deity, Jesus Christ rules the universe and all therein with power, majesty, and justice. This divine human union is now eternal (Isaiah 9:6;Zechariah 14:1- 9).
The Bible gives Jesus many titles that attest to His identity as the one God, the Father incarnate. Examine the following examples:
• Jesus Christ is the Lord of glory (I Corinthians 2:8).
• JesusChristiscalledtheWordofGod(John1:1,14;Revelation19:13).
• JesusChrististheHolyOne(Psalm71:22;Isaiah12:6;41:16;43:15;47:4; 48:17; Jeremiah 51:5; Ezekiel 39:7; Acts 3:14; Revelation 3:7; 15:4).
• TheLordisthatSpirit(IICorinthians3:17;Isaiah9:6;IPeter3:18;John 20:22).
• JesusChrististherockofsalvation(Deuteronomy32:15-18;IISamuel 22:2; Psalm 18:2; 78:35; I Corinthians 10:4).
The one and only God (the Father) of the Old Testament manifested Himself as Jesus Christ, for "God was in Christ (in the flesh) reconciling the worlduntoHimself"(IICorinthians5:19). ThomasconfessedJesusashis Lord and his God Qohn 20:28; I Corinthians 8:4-6). So the invisible God, the Father, was with us as the eternal God, His own flesh, and became our Saviour (Matthew 1:23). There is only one God, and that God is the Father (Malachi2:10). SincetheWordofGodhasbecomeflesh,andChristhassaio that "I and my Father are one", it logically follows that the Spirit (Fat er and Chnst (the flesh and blood of God) are one and have the same esse
