When the fullness of time came, God did satisfy the longings ofHis peo ple and revealed Himself in all His power and glory through the express image of His person and the name of Jesus (Isaiah 25:8,9). ChristJesus pos sesses the attributes of deity; divine offices and prerogatives belonging to Him. Things, which in the Old Testament are said of Jehovah, are in the New Testament said of Jesus Christ. Names of deity are given to Him. Divine worship was rendered to Him and accepted by him during the time ofHisearthlylife. HewasconsciousofbeingGodtheFatherincarnateand represented Himself as being such.
Thisisanareaofdeepmystery. HowcantheFather(divinity)andthe Son(fleshandblood)beoneperson? Thoughthisquestionseemsadifficult concept for many to understand; the scriptures, nevertheless, encourage a consideration of the mystery of God even Christ (Colossians 2:2; 2.^ Timothy 3:16). Jesus indicates that a true knowledge of him is
only through divine revelation (Matthew 11:27; Ephesians 1:16-20). ' ^ Word God and the word which was with God can be one person be ore birth, then it can be true that the word that become flesh and the Fat er incarnate are in one person after birth (John 1:1-14).
