Below at left we see the Etruscan God Ixion was often depicted crucified on a solar wheel note the similarity to the Chi-Rho cross and the Byzantine image of Christ below at lower left. The same pagan symbolism of the solar wheel or cross is used behind the icon of Christ. Note that the Orthodox Jesus even looks a lot like the bearded longhaired pagan sun god Ixion. At upper right we see an image of the pagan god Osiris/Dionysus also crucified upon a solar cross. Below at center and right we see ancient pre Christian megalithic monuments erected by pagans almost five thousand years ago that have the solar sun god crosses and symbols all over them.
