Trinity worship was universal the Aztecs, Druids, Romans, Egyptians, Babylonians and many more ancient civilizations worshiped the Sun. Their sun god was seen as a single deity yet a plurality. Many temples and burial mounds had openings and alters that faced the East and the rising Sun for worship. The pentagram is also a pagan symbol for the “Blazing Star” or sun god.
At left we see a reconstruction of an ancient Druid High Priest based upon the remains of archeological finds in Great Britain. Note that the Arch-Druid priest has a sun god disk or halo made of gold around his head his ceremonial sword knife is in the shape of a crescent moon. The Druids worshipped the sun and birth of the sun god at the dawn of the 25th of December. They were heavily into astrology and many dark arts they were feared even by Rome’s mighty legions. The Druids like the Mithraic sun cult had different degrees or levels of rank they took oaths of secrecy and communicated their doctrines and knowledge orally to specially prepared candidates. The number three or the Triad was very sacred to them and the oak tree. Below we see the Phoenician sun god with a halo and rays around his head. Constantine took his halo and triad from solar paganism.
