The annual prize-giving ceremony was held at the School before a very large gathering on Thursday, 9th December.
The guest speaker for the occasion was the Very Rev. A. W. Pyatt, Dean of Christchurch. He told the gathering that they were living in the toughest world in history. The pupils must decide what they_ were going to do with the knowledge they had gained. He suggested that a complete, mature job must be chosen in order to impart time and talents. The pupils were told to go out into the world and share their skills.
The presentation of form prizes and certi cates and special prizes was made by Mr. J. B. W. Anderson, President of the School's Old Boys' Association.
